Christopher J. Muzzi concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial bankruptcy, debtor - creditor law, general commercial litigation, mediation and arbitration, business and general corporate matters, and state tax controversy resolution.  His work more specifically includes: 

Commercial Bankruptcy:
Mr. Muzzi has a wide array of bankruptcy experience representing Official Committees of Unsecured Creditors, Chapter 11 Debtors, Secured Creditors, Unsecured Creditors (generally, and in claim objections and defense of preference and avoidance actions), Chapter 7 Trustees, Receivers, Lessors, Liquidating Trusts and PACA Claimants.

Mr. Muzzi represents individuals and businesses in commercial disputes involving corporate, contract, real estate and other legal issues.  Mr. Muzzi serves as a court-appointed arbitrator in the Hawaii Court Annexed Arbitration Program.

Business and General Corporate Matters:
Mr. Muzzi represents parties in negotiating and documenting agreements, in the sale and purchase of assets, and in other corporate matters.

State Tax Controversy Resolution:
Mr. Muzzi represents clients in appealing and litigating State of Hawaii tax assessments.
