Alan K. Lau concentrates his practice in the areas of general commercial litigation, employment litigation, mediation and arbitration, collection, commercial leasing, business and general corporate matters. His work more specifically includes the following:
Commercial Litigation:
Represents parties in disputes involving partnerships and corporate matters, real estate transactions, title insurance matters, landlord and tenant issues, trust and probate issues and commercial lease matters.
Mediation/Arbitration:
Represents parties in the mediation and arbitration of commercial disputes, including real estate transactions, contract, employment and trust matters. Serves as a court appointed arbitrator in the Court Annexed Arbitration Program.
Business and General Corporate:
Represents parties in the sale and purchase of businesses, incorporation and organization of business entities.
Commercial Leases:
Represents major shopping centers in all aspects of operation including leasing of tenant space. Represents selected landlords and tenants in commercial and industrial leases.
